Progressive Turnout Project and Relentless Announce $10.8m Relational Organizing Program

May 28, 2024.

Progressive Turnout Project, the largest voter turnout organization, and Relentless, the leading relational organizing practitioner, will partner to make the earliest and largest investment in a relational organizing program targeting key Democratic voters since the tactic was developed at scale using technology in 2020. The $10.8 million effort will engage low-propensity voters to mobilize their friends and family to vote, and will take place across seven battleground states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

“PTP’s investment in Relentless will allow us to run an unprecedented program in 2024, and to reach more than 2 million voters with a high-impact touch from a trusted messenger,” said Alex Morgan, President of Progressive Turnout Project. “This is the right team at the right moment to bring relational organizing to a national scale.”

“This funding is a gamechanger for what is possible,” said Davis Leonard, CEO of Relentless. “For too long we have accepted that some voters are just too hard to reach; that’s not true anymore. We need a relational-first approach for all electoral organizing, and with Progressive Turnout Project, that shift is taking place in 2024.”
